TR translate: your event in any language

ย

At ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜, we really dig schemes. They help us assimilate all the information and prepare each job thoroughly.

Recently, a company asked us to deal with the technical side of an event that involved simultaneous translation in ๐—ญ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—บ, online speakers and in person speakers. Everything was mixed, recorded and streamed with ๐˜ƒ๐— ๐—ถ๐˜….

This is a kind of event we have already done in the past. In this case, translators and online speakers were cohabiting peacefully in the same Zoom meeting.

The Zoom Business acount allowed us to pull 1920 x 1080 px. feeds when pinning participants, and we leveraged ๐—ก๐——๐—œ to send a reference signal back from vMix to Zoom.

Audio from each translator is sent from Zoom to a ๐—•๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ต INT TX04 transmitter, which in turn delivers all the languages to the Bosch LBB 4540 infrared receivers, so anyone in the room can listen to any language. This communication happens in the 2 – 6 MHz spectrum, so those signals won’t interfere with wireless microphones, WiFi or 4G/5G.

For WAN and LAN management, we used a ๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ธ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ ๐Ÿฑ๐—š with bonded Ethernet (300 Mbps uplink) + 5G modem (200 Mbps uplink) and a 4G modem as a failover (50 Mbps uplink).

It is worth mentioning that we could have gotten rid of the pinning laptop by using the Zoom plugin that comes with the brand new vMix v27
